6976 is a photoinitiator based on sulfonium salt chemistry, which generates a pair of cations and anions upon UV irradiation, initiating the ring-opening polymerization of epoxy groups in UV coatings.
It does not require oxygen inhibition during curing and can cure in dark conditions. As a liquid product with excellent compatibility, it is easy to use and mainly applied in UV curing systems for epoxy resins.
It can be used in various UV coatings and inks, including printing inks (screen printing, offset printing), metal paints, solder mask inks, and photo oils, as well as UV adhesives and other applications.
It has a fast curing speed, and the recommended dosage is 2-4%.
